Dear Readers and Writers,

Welcome to the official launch of The Hoolet’s Nook! Get ready for a month filled with poems and stories that explore a wide range of themes—from deep reflections on the human experience to evocative narratives rich with imagery, wonder, mystery, and surprising twists.

I want to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude to every writer who submitted. Thank you for trusting us with your work, and for your kind words and patience while we worked through the details. Your dedication and creativity are an inspiration, and I am proud and privileged to showcase your artistic abilities to the world.

Now, on to the important part—I’m thrilled to present our first story, “Knit One, Purl Two,” by Julie Brandon, a poignant exploration of memory and connection.

We encourage you to read, share, and comment on the stories and poems which will be featured throughout the month. Your thoughts and feedback are important to us, and we look forward to building a community of passionate readers and writers.

I'm so grateful to have all of you on this journey with me.

Namaste,

G.R. LeBlanc
Managing Editor
